The Himalayan Diary
Submitted by Anonymous on 2008-11-03 14:37:20 (via www.uttaranchal.org.uk)
Is it the physical step or the step taken in the mind? A journey to the Himalayas is so different from other journeys. Any other journey may or may not be a pilgrimage, but a journey to the Himalayas transforms itself into a pilgrimage, somewhere, somehow.

In the Footsteps of Norse Kings by Brandon Wilson
Submitted by Anonymous on 2008-11-03 14:32:56 (via www.pilgrimstales.com)
I couldn't believe what confronted me as I crested the rise. Two moose, a mother and her calf, blocked my pathway. Surprising, yes? But that incident was typical of the adventure and super-natural surprises I discovered on my recent 400-mile trek along the St. Olav's Way in Norway…" by Brandon Wilson   More...

The Real Work Begins
Submitted by Amber on 2007-05-16 09:29:52 (via www.adventureprone.com)
“…a group of young Mexican women, awkwardly trying to flirt with me. It reminded me of high school, except for the fact that no one actually tried to flirt with me when I was in high school…” Strange feelings, although this is the continuation of the biking trip in the previous article.

Sailing is a Life of Extremes
Submitted by Adele on 2007-04-05 05:44:03 (via www.wherescherie.com)
The journey is a process, and sometimes that process is miserable. What do you do when sailing in the middle of the ocean and a storm hits you?
