| Alligators, snakes, piranhas the all must beautiful animals of the planet seem to concentrate in this region of Bolivia. Anyway, so a nice travelogue resulted out of all this. It’s fantastic that people are still able to perceive the miracle of the jungle, of the wild nature hidden somewhere in South America.

| Dude Ranch Vacation Travelogue |

| There seems no boredom at the Waunita Quest Ranch. There are so many activities to do that there appears the overwhelming temptation to try them all. Good decision, but after having a vacation at this ranch make sure to have some extra days to rest at home before you go to work.

| Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest |

| "Whatever you do," our guide Steven cautioned, "do not run if a gorilla charges you." "What happens if he catches you?" I asked. "Just don't run," Steven replied”. Well, quite a promising dialog before going in a gorilla trekking. Gorilla watching is indeed a challenge, although this it is rather related to a bit of adrenaline.

| “Mate is the most popular hot drink of Argentina and in particular, Buenos Aires. In this city of people that never sleep, Mate gives the Argentineans extraordinary energy. As one man here told me, “how else do you think people stay out all night dancing and barely sleep? It’s Mate.” Magic beverage, magic effect!

| Sailing is a Life of Extremes |

| The journey is a process, and sometimes that process is miserable. What do you do when sailing in the middle of the ocean and a storm hits you? It’s completely uncontained and uncontrolled: the clouds are violent, the rain drops - massive, like coins pounding noisily on the bow, and you have a lightning rod (called a mast) attached to you.

| This is an adventurous fishing experience in Alaska. One fish promised to curse them, if they don’t throw it back into the sea… and it was odd looking, too. I’m very curious actually what kind of fish is that? Maybe somebody can identify it from the picture?

| This is a funny attempt at rafting on the most technically difficult commercially rafted rapid in the world. There’s a four meter waterfall and sharp rocks at the bottom. Good thing this guy ended up with the sole of one of his sandal ripped off only.

| Life in motion – that would be the motto of the following article. This article describes a life from a different perspective, nights in hotels, but days in the trains where the windows serve as the most captivating spectacle. Here the notion of time loses its meaning and everything resumes at the notion of space and sensations.

| St. Croix -the Gay Virgin Island |

| We were going snorkeling in the Caribbean’s azure waters around the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our sailboat carried three lesbian couples and a male gay-friendly skipper. Lucky coincidence? Not at all. An article about agents who use gay friendly tour operators to ensure that their guests feel comfortable on the tour and are treated well in all respects.
