Lekeitio and Mungia declared "slow cities" - Basque Country

Both towns have been selected among four towns of the Spanish State, ideal for the quiet traveller.
Following the trail of the Slow Food movement, created in 1986 by the gastronomy critic Carlo Petrini in view of the fast food proliferation, "slow cities" have originated. Currently 116 towns from 16 countries have received the acknowledgement.
