| Not Your Typical Hollywood Experience |

| Did you ever dream to get to Hollywood some day? Maybe not, if you live somewhere close, or could do it easily anytime. But I did. Still do. And not just visiting. However, it seems in reality this is not as glamorous of a place as all imagine it to be. It’s rather a “cool” image maker!

| “There's something going on in the heart of Switzerland… Find out what the Swiss are hiding. Noone can be that calm. Nothing can be so well-ordered. Nowhere could be that dull." Well, it seems like a place of peace, calm, and natural beauty. Trains run on time. Everyone’s good-natured, open-minded and cheerful… “They're definitely up to something.”

| This article contains everything I would like to read about an African country. It’s all just so different and interesting there. Children staring at white men and running behind the car, crying “bottle!”, gorillas showing interest to cameras and farting so strong to delimitate the territory, traditional dances…Magnificent adventure!

| Loose Leaf Notes |

| Well, it took me a while read this, but it was worth it. I a lot appreciated the writing style, which determined me to write my own travel blogs. “At the ocean, I’m a girl again. Everything is brighter against the grey canvas of water, sand, and sky, and the world seems to open up like a shell ready to explore”…

| Bora Bora might turn out to be the MOST beautiful place on earth. Of course, it depends on the individual taste. Even if not, I’m convinced it’s worth visiting. And it’s expensive. I liked how many cues Brent gives, up to on what side of the place to sit to get a view of the island. Pretty informative.

| Lost on a Trolley in Milan |
| Submitted by Amber on
2007-02-08 08:34:06 (via www.icdc.com) |
| This is a story about an American traveling to Milan and, instead of taking a taxi from the central train station to the hotel, he decided to go by trolley in order to see more of the city. Well, he was to discover soon that that wasn’t such a good choice... moreover, he didn’t have a ticket and didn’t know the language...oops!

| Homer, AK – Travelogue |
| Submitted by lisa on

| What can be more romantic than having a dinner somewhere in Alaska at a camping fire with friends, eating the fish caught during the day? It’s wonderful, but for this you have to learn the right fishing technology. For this you may either observe the others or, if you are an interesting blond girl, may directly ask some genuine fishmen from around.

| If you happen to travel to Canada and have lived in a 3rd world country for a while, prepare to control your impulses. Some had to force themselves to stop stealing and hoarding toilet paper Mexican fashion:) Keeping a right balance in life is important in order to avoid painful extremes and traveling around helps one a lot in this regard.

| Daily and Weekly emails from West Africa |

| After reading this article I felt like you have to take some courses of how to survive in West Africa as a tourist before you go there:). Fortunately this was a happy end trip, although it had a lot of stressful situations, not to say traumatic. But never mind, as it was indeed a very interesting and captivating experience.
