| It is almost dark when we get to the top of Gebel Abbas Basha, one of the highest peaks in the ragged Sinai Mountains. The ruined remains of what was once part of a magnificent Ottoman fortress look down over the most incredible view of the mountain ranges.

this is so touching! it's a place people people discover themselves again and again! i liked especially the part you said that here "even the non believers want to believe in something".
by the way I've heard there are other names for the Sinai Mountain. Do you know by chance what they are? |
