No, it's not exhausting and requires no training. It's flat and there are plenty of places to rest and stay. Depending on the time of the year, you might need raingear.
Of course, like with any other tour, you should practice first and do a few rides of similar length and duration as you expect to do on a typical day during the tour.
Using the same bicycle; you need to make sure it works and is adjusted exactly right - if the seat height is off by only a centimeter this can have a big impact on your comfort later. Ask an expert (or check my bicycle maintenance guide on http://www.bitrot.de). |
