Hi everybody, I read the article, but....., yes a great but, because I visited Palermo (coming by ship from Napoli) and I loved the city. The ship was not a 5 stars class, that's for sure, and it was very difficult to sleep (4 in a cabine, to wash (a common room for all women and children), but it was only a night and in the morning, when I saw the port of Palermo, woaw, what a beauty.... The city is very, very nice, I saw many beautiful places and I felt very safe. So, if you are not expecting a 5 stars resort and hotel and, if you can enjoy of everything you see, go to Palermo ! Go, enjoy your trip ! |

I can tell you immediately that I have never seen any sunflowers in Sicily! The rest of the write-up is accurate. |

Another problem with the photos. In fact the other photo in the article IS of Mondello, Palermo, from Monte Pellegrino and not, as quoted next the the pic "Vroom with a view ... Peter Moore visits Cevoli, in Tuscany. Picture: Peter Moore" Tuscany is in north central italy. Palermo is in Sicily, which is the island off the south of Italy!!! |
