I loved your article. Going off the beaten track is indeed the best way in which one can experience genuinely another country's culture.
but, I do have a question... when did you go there and how was the weather? I was a bit surprised to see men in leather jackets ;) |

We went there 13 July - 13 August. Close to the coast and on the river it was very nice weather (warm, sometimes hot), but in the middle of the Island it was cold in the evening and morning. I think 8 degrees C. You realy need a warm sweather. |
