Magdalen Islands Adventure
Submitted by lisa on 2007-02-20 08:22:01 (via www.dcrimages.com)
This is a very nice article about walking on the snow on the Magdalen Islands, shooting seal pups and sometimes trying to caress them. But here the first disappointment comes: in a place without bathroom facilities there are really no places to hide up:).

Not Your Typical Hollywood Experience
Submitted by Adele on 2007-02-09 08:20:34 (via www.cultureconnect.com)
Did you ever dream to get to Hollywood some day? Maybe not, if you live somewhere close, or could do it easily anytime. But I did. Still do. And not just visiting. However, it seems in reality this is not as glamorous of a place as all imagine it to be. It’s rather a “cool” image maker!

Loose Leaf Notes
Submitted by lisa on 2007-02-09 05:53:48 (via www.looseleafnotes.com)
Well, it took me a while read this, but it was worth it. I a lot appreciated the writing style, which determined me to write my own travel blogs. “At the ocean, I’m a girl again. Everything is brighter against the grey canvas of water, sand, and sky, and the world seems to open up like a shell ready to explore”…

Denali National Park, Alaska - The Rooftop of North America
Submitted by roxy on 2007-02-08 08:16:55 (via www.amwest-travel.com)
Because Mt. McKinley makes its own weather, the chances of actually seeing it are quite slim. Anyway the vistas are outstanding. This makes the Denali National park to be one of the five must beautiful places in the West America and one of the most spectacular places in the world.   More...

Beggars in Paradise
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-02-07 07:25:40 (via www.heldencrow.com)
If you happen to travel to Canada and have lived in a 3rd world country for a while, prepare to control your impulses. Some had to force themselves to stop stealing and hoarding toilet paper Mexican fashion:) Keeping a right balance in life is important in order to avoid painful extremes and traveling around helps one a lot in this regard.   More...

Through the Portal of the Gods
Submitted by cleo on 2007-02-02 08:30:56 (via www.heldencrow.com)
Playa del Carmen means multicolored reefs, coral gardens, tunnels and caverns through the coral wall and back again. Read the experience of a healthy pinkish mango colored Irish man diving through Cenotes, the portals to another world. As well as his viewpoint upon American football. Quite funny!

Niagara Falls and Toronto
Submitted by Amber on 2006-12-28 01:56:49 (via www.traveladdicts.connectfree.co.uk)
Did you know that when you are around Niagara Falls even your hair will stand up? You know why? I know. But did you know, the falls can be completely stopped? I didn’t. And I didn’t know Canadians have such a strong sense of national pride… neither did I know that CN Tower with its thrilling attractions it's fun to visit. This is cool to read!

We Invade a Stranger's Home in Juneau
Submitted by cleo on 2006-12-22 02:51:51 (via www.ericandjoan.com)
Are all Alaskans like this - I was impressed with the simplicity, openness and hospitality of this man. Have you ever hosted strangers, without even being home? And what experience can be described as fantastically scary? :O}Maybe... canoeing in Alasca.
