English is definitely spoken in the island. Everybody speaks english, you won't have a problem getting around or anything!! |

Hi. I'm a local islander from Palau and I can tell you that Palau IS a paradise. There is no other place in the world just like it. The rock islands are beautiful. Palau is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the world. Palauan is the main language spoken but because of the diversity of people living in this small island, English is also a spoken language. I do hope that you could come to Palau for a visit and see all the wonders that we have to offer. There have been several famous people that came to our island for vacation. John F. Kennedy and Tommy Lee Jones are some of them. Palau is the perfect place for a vacation. |

I am from Palau but currently live in the US. I go everytime i have a chance to. It is a laid back island and if you're a diver, i tell ya, the underwater is just precious, nothing like it. You need to go and see for yourself. We have a very unique culture that you would be amazed. When you go, please ask to witness a "first childbirth ceremony" it is unique and we still practice it till this day. here are some more websites that you could check out :

wasn't Palau the island they choosen for one of the "Survivor" editions?
i wonder are there any beauties besides the amazing and picturesque natural spots? i mean monuments, or temples? |

YUP!!!! Palau is a very nice place to visit and to get away from work. I totally agree with these all comments because there so many things you can do while your in Palau... I love swimming so i would say that the Rock Islands is the best place to go to when you travel to Palau...... PALAU ROCKS...numbah 1... |
