Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye

The isle of Skye, located off the western coast of Scotland is well known for its marvelous scenery, especially when the sun is shining. Its bare hills, cliffs overlooking the water, grazing lands for sheep and the hairy highland cow, and the occasional farmhouse or B&B, usually built of stone or painted white will make for the highlight of a trip.

Have you heard of Orkney? I never did, but it is unbelievable! After reading this article, I got the impression that I have discovered a secret chamber with priceless treasures and very ancient artifacts. It’s full of exhilarating spaces, breathtaking coastlines, ancient standing stones & peaceful fishing villages...
