Art and Architecture of Modern Spain
Submitted by cmaingue on 2007-01-30 10:58:05 (via www.circatours.com)
Spain is THE hotbed of modern architecture right now, as evidenced by a recent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Besides visiting great architectural projects from Madrid to Bilbao to Barcelona and Valencia, I checked out the Catalonia of modern Spanish painters like Juan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a great article! you know I'm especially attracted by Spain: the language, the music, the rythms... but now there is one more thing - it's modern architecture. As I read this article it's hard to believe they have invested such creativity in making a simple airport so unique...

Indeed that's a great article. I have visited Spain some years ago and was astonished by the beauty of the old cities and the modern architecture. I believe Spain can undoubtfully pretend to be considered the center of modern architecture.
