I knew how un-wealthy I am without reading this, but it's good stuff for dreaming indeed.
I'm going to go and work there as a doorman or waiter... Maybe a rich lady will fall in love with me and resque me...:)
I'm concerned about one thing with these islands... where does the sewage go? I'm even curious! |

Hi Laurentzi,
Boy, you like to dream... What exactly you want to be resquied from?
After all life is not about living on an island and doing nothing. At some point you'll find that extremely pointless and looking back you'll see an useless life simply. |

Dubai is not only about modern architecture, architecture plans and reach people. All the wealth Dubai has aquired is due to oil and perhaps to a tax free regime, is it?
Although the modern architecture really makes it a unique city.
Unbelievable that people make islands in the Persian Gulf and sell them. They make money out of everything!!! |

I have been to Dubai a number of times, and absolutely love the place.... If you take it for what it is at face value - i.e. a totally man made environment for pleasure, then you simply cannot dislike the place. |
