Along the American Sahara - Cactus, CA
Submitted by pablo on 2007-02-02 05:34:54 (via www.riverearth.com)
From the oldest times horses have been the best friends of a human. Bernie, the author of this article knows it very well, as he crossed the US accompaniated by… two horses. Here comes the story of a mule standing in the center of the world, about the Wild West activity of skinning coyote dogs, and the concerts of saguaro cactus.

This is the most unusual travel experience. Traveling in the company of two horses and in a cart. Since I'm a fan of horses, I appreciate such an experience and camping under a singing cactus is quite something, since I forgot to tell you that I'm also a meloman;) Arizona is generally a place a hope to visit one day.
